The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado is a solid pickup truck. The 5.3L V8 is surprisingly fuel efficient and has more than enough power to do what I need it to do. I have the extended cab and really love that the rear seat lifts up and the rear doors open to 170 degrees, this enables me to fit almost anything in the back seat. Over time the dash has cracked and needed to be replaced. The third brake light is also known to leak water and can ruin your headliner. While these issues can be a little costly and are extremely annoying, the overall quality of the truck is great!

The Chevy Silverado 1500 is a very capable machine. It has hauled more than its fair share of miles. At 208000 miles the engine has just kept ticking on. However it ticks a lot and has required more maintenance than any other vehicle that I have owned. Good thing I know how to repair and maintenance the truck. I do believe that I have an unfair bias, because I did finance the vehicle used. Only later did it become apparent the previous owner didn't take quality care of it.
