For the most part, I like my vehicle. It has been relatively reliable over the years that I have had it. It has had its share of problems, but none that were too inconvenient or too expensive/difficult to fix.

I purchased my truck well used in the summer of 2009. I think it was part of some kind of work fleet and was retired from that. The truck was very clean, though, and runs like a dream. I've rarely had trouble with it. However, the really great thing about having a common model of truck, especially a Chevy Silverado 1500 which is possibly the most common truck there is, is that there are tons and tons of cheap parts out there for it and you can easily find low priced mechanics who can fix anything on the thing. Or, you could probably do almost all of the work yourself. I don't really know anything about cars off the top of my head except how tot change a tire and how to change the oil. But, usually if something can be fixed by replacing it, then it's a great truck for doing your own work. The engine bay has a lot of space to get tools in and work in unlike newer vehicles which are crammed full and you can't get into the guts to work on them without taking a bunch of stuff apart first. I love my truck.
