Pretty good for the price.
To start with, it was inexpensive & I had used the dealer before & they were within walking distance when my old car dropped dead. Probably could have gone somewhere else, but have owned a number of Chevy's (but not every car I owned) over the years & been happy with all of them. It gets good mileage (30-37 mpg depending on my driving) and has not caused me any real trouble in 2 years.

Chevy Sparks are defective.
I initially bought the vehicle because it was great on gas and was a Chevy. I've always been a Chevy girl but no more. I bought two brand new Sparks back to back with the same exact brake issue. I will never buy another Chevy product so long as I live no matter how much I like the vehicle. The only pros I can really think of are the great gas mileage and it comes with a touchscreen and Wi-Fi standard. Other than the brakes being defective, I guess it's a decent commuter car. The seats are fairly comfortable. I've taken a 300-mile day trip in it with no real pain. The audio is lacking, but what can you expect from a cheap car? Storage is minimal, but the car is minimal so it's fitting. It is a fun car to drive because it's almost like driving a go-kart around town. Parking is no problem because you can squeeze into the smallest of spaces. Getting out of places is also not an issue because you can squeeze into smaller gaps than most cars. If it weren't for the faulty brakes and intermittent electrical problems I gained with the second Spark, I'd recommend it as a point A to B commuter car. But since I spent over a year and a half fighting with GMC over my faulty brakes, I cannot consciously give this car a good recommendation. Stay away from Sparks and stay away from GMC.
