I had an Explorer before the Tahoe, and I would never go back to my Tahoe. It is better on gas and even parts for the truck are half of the price of Ford parts. I do not like how they are known for going bad.

I was comfortable taking it out of town to an amusement park.
Pros
Smooth riding truck and spacious.
Cons
Brake light and ABS light always on dash.

Overall the Chevy Tahoe is everything you would need in an SUV. First, it's very spacious, so lots of room for comfort. With 3 rows of seating there's plenty of room for potential ten individuals. There's also the detaching third row seats which allow for more room if it is needed. It allows for moving to be much easier. Such as fitting in large furniture of that nature.

The top positive pro for this vehicle is how spacious it is. So much room, so much comfort, it's no wonder this car is rated so highly. Accident tests have also proven to be very rewarding for this car. It is highly safe and would recommend to anyone. There's also a reverse camera, used when your car is in reverse, and has a motion detector that notifies you if you are getting too close to an object,
Cons
The biggest con has to be the gas usage. The Tahoe does tend to use up a lot of gas. While getting roughly 14 miles to the gallon on the road, it isn't exactly a gas saver. A full tank can run anywhere between $80-100 depending on which geographical location you live in as gas prices vary from state to state or region. Overall, it isn't the best car if you're looking to save on gas.

When searching for the car I wanted it pulled up the vehicle at Preston Hood Chevrolet. From first contact via email to servicing the vehicle after purchase I had a great experience. Sales and service were A+++. The customer service is outstanding. I have since moved out of state. If I live in Fort Walton Beach again I would purchase a car from this dealer.
