Overall, a good choice
I like my Traverse. When my husband and I were shopping for a car we knew we needed something that would sit seven comfortably as we have two teenage daughters and often have their friends with us. Of all the third-row vehicles we test drove, the Traverse had the most room in the third row for longer legs. Since the third row folds down, I am often able to fit fifty pound bags of grain (sometimes six at a time) for our horses and chickens as well as a one-hundred gallon water trough. The only downside we have experienced is the failure of the power steering system. As it turns out, you cannot simply replace the power steering pump, it could be the power steering solenoid that goes out. There is also a setting that needs to be programmed by a garage to fix power steering issues. The interior is great, and the drive of the vehicle is wonderful. Extras are as expected, and there is enough room for road trips that enables both of my kids to really spread out and relax. The onboard navigation is a plus, but you have to pay for XM to get it so there is an added hidden cost there. Overall, I would recommend this car, just expect a lot of work if you are a do it yourself person.

Awesome, reliable, pleasing, comforting
What I liked about the vehicle is the size of it. I always wanted a bigger truck that can accommodate my dogs crate as she's a Labrador mix, so she's quite large and has to be crate driven because it makes her feel secure. We just load her into the back truck and still have full accessibility to the two rows of seats. The car drives very smooth, almost as if floating instead of driving. So smooth that at even the highest speeds, you'll think that you're going slow even though you'd look down and be surprised your going 75 in a 55.That's how smooth it is. It's very reliable, I've had it for about 2.5 years now and no major repairs besides a $600 water pump repair within the first month of buying the car actually. The features are awesome on it, coming from a basic car. I can now see my tire pressure, track when I need an oil change, how much mpg I get, how many gallon of gas I've used, and how many miles I can go before hitting empty. My most favorite one of all is the rearview mirror back-up camera and beeping sensor, which comes in handy for such a large truck and a terrible rear window view. The seating arrangement is awesome. Number of seats, four of the seven seats being bucket seats, and the back two rows being able to fold down, countless space.
