The Chevy Traverse is a good overall SUV. It has three rows of seats and holds eight passengers, including the driver. The seats are comfortable and the size of the interior is good. Three toddler car seats fit comfortably across the middle row. There is plenty of leg room in the front seat and also in the middle row. The back row has less leg room and a major complaint of this vehicle is the difficulty in folding down the middle row seat to allow access to the back row. When demonstrated by the salesperson it looked easy, but in reality it is tricky. My grandsons have taken to climbing over the seat instead. The back row folds down very easy for extra storage. The Traverse is easy to drive and the driver sits up high with good visibility of the road. The backup camera allows easier vision for backing up. The gas mileage is around 16-17 mpg around town. With around 21 mpg on the open road. This car handles very well in bad weather and the traction control is great. We have not experienced any skidding or sliding with this car. Although sometimes tricky to park because of its length, I am very happy overall.

We purchased our 2011 Traverse used from a dealership with 138k miles on it. The car handles like it has 30k miles on it. It has a smooth ride, doesn't feel broken-in, and all of the features (this is the bells and whistles model) work like new. The leather seats are still pristine and I don't believe the third row was ever even sat in.
