Sleek, Comfortable Sedan
I purchased this car new and it is loaded with features: heated seats, cruise, leather interior, defrosted rear windows, and other features. I love the dual finish wheel rims because they look expensive. The rear seats fold down for the trunk room to haul things that would not ordinarily fit. The gas mileage is a flex fuel but I only burn regular gasoline because the mileage is 27 city and you can't beat that with the lowered flex miles. The heated seats are wonderful in Michigan winter but when I sit all day and drive home I put the heat seat on to relax and soothe my sore back. It works! Also, it handles so well in the snow and ice. I have never had a serious repair job except for replacing the ball joints. I have driven to the serving window at the fast food restaurant and the young people passing food out to me comment that this is their dream car. I feel safe in the Impala, it has air bags and auto lock doors and steering wheel. The four doors make it easy in and out. I will drive this car until it won't go anymore. It is a great buy that doesn't seem to go out of style.

Reliable, low-maintenance car
I bought this car with the intent for regular commuting across the state. One of the main reasons I bought it was because it was full size, whereas I had been driving my aunt's cramped mid-size for a while. It does pretty good on gas and has had no major problems except the drivers side seatbelt tore through the housing and has to be manually retracted after driving. There has also been two recalls on it since I have owned it, with a free dealership fix available now.

I purchased this car only a few months ago. I traded in a newer vehicle for this Chrysler because I assumed that it was a great reliable car. From day one the car has been nothing but a problem. The car idles so fast that I can hardly stop. The transmission constantly bangs and bucks back and forth. Upon doing some research I found that there is a lot of issues with this particular vehicle. So, since it is still under warranty, I dropped it off a licensed Chrysler dealership to reprogram the computer in the transmission since that is an ongoing issue with this model. After this the car drove fine for maybe a week before AGAIN the same issues. Now I AGAIN need to take it in for repairs. My advice for anyone considering purchasing the Chrysler 200- BEWARE!!
