2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser - PT cruiser- surprising - good bang for the buck.

I like the space. It is actually much roomier than similar vehicles, and it does have some kick to it while driving/accelerating/decelerating on the highway.

Story

My friend took over driving on the highway after she saw that I was tired. There had been a fire on the road that had jumped the highway, which was only a two-way road, with the only other possible way of getting around being a dirt, unpaved & rocky desert road. Pros

It's actually a nice camping vehicle for 1-2 smaller people, as long as both people are not trying to sleep inside it. I fit enough water, camping gear, clothes, costumes and 2 heavier bikes--all my equipment for Burning Man in it with no problem.

Cons

If you wanted to sleep 2 bigger adults comfortably in this car, I wouldn't recommend it. Took a little longer to pack all my gear, though, because I had to be sure to fit it in a certain way, where as with a bigger/roomier SUV or van, I could have just thrown everything in.

2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Need a good little car?

When I first got my car I absolutely loved it. It was small (which I liked) and awesome on gas mileage. There were a couple small things that I didn't care for, but nothing major. For an example, it needs some get up and go! Doesn't do the best going up hill, lags a bit. It is awesome for long road trips, like I said before great gas mileage. Not much room to the car but if it's only you it will do great. Also, another thing I disliked was/is it has a very wide turn radius for such a small car. Overall I do enjoy this car a lot.

Story

Always when I went on road trips! Ill never forget when I drove my car to Los Angeles by myself. It did great in that LA traffic. Easy to get in and out of traffic.

Pros

My favorite thing for this car is that it's on the smaller side. I have a hard time driving bigger cars so it works perfect for me. I also really like how it's simple. A lot of these new cars are too technical nowadays.

Cons

I had some problems with it a few years back, I can't remember exactly what. I felt like everything was going out on it at the same time. (Or just a crappy mechanic) Once they finally fixed it right I haven't had a problem since. The wide turn is also something I do not like!
