PT Loser
I made the mistake of buying a PT Cruiser two years back. Though it had been quite dependable, it has at times bothered me greatly. Currently, it is out of commission, and I'm waiting to get enough cash to install new motor mounts and a new timing belt. That's one big thing that many PT Cruiser owners face around ~100k miles, and I'm currently at 97k. Considering I had the car in late high school and drove it like a maniac, I'd say that's right on schedule. I live five hours away from where I go to school and average about 85 on the highway. I've made probably 30 trips and have had no problems.

Good car for its age.
I have owned this PT Cruiser for six years. It performs well in the Florida climate. The air conditioner has never needed service and provides driving comfort. However, while using the A/C, the usage of gasoline is higher. The lift hatch "trunk" area is very practical and spacious. The rear seats fold down for more room if needed. The seating is very comfortable and has worn very well. There is plenty of leg and head room. This cruiser has an automatic transmission, electric door locks and windows with remote entry. Topping off the interior is a moon roof.
The exterior of this PT Cruiser has weathered well. The brakes have been replaced once. It has ABS braking system. The styling is not a favorite of mine, but I do like that the bucket seats are not low to the ground. For casual driving, it is great on fuel economy. I have enjoyed this used car and will miss it when it retires. What I absolutely recommend for this vehicle, is the purchase of a sun shade. Having lived in the north, I never encountered the drying and cracking the sunlight and high temperatures have on the dashboard. So, if you don't want to use duck tape to hold pieces together, always use your sunshade to protect the dashboard.

Somewhat satisfied
The car is a smooth ride thus far and the leather seats are comfortable, making for an easy, enjoyable ride. Since the Air Conditioning rarely worked, made ample use of the windows and sun roof and never had any complications with either. Drove cross country in it and encountered zero issues during the over 2,000 mile drive. Despite being a small car, it was surprisingly comfortable to sleep in overnight. The exterior seemed to rarely get dirty but the interior needed to be cleaned frequently. The car held up pretty well in the hot Florida summers.
