I haven't really had any issues with this vehicle outside of basic maintenance. The only major issue is that the turning radius is absolutely awful--nearly every U-turn or turn into a parking space is a three-pointer. It handles well other than that and hasn't given me a lot of trouble.
Story
Driving back home from celebrating my birthday with my friends stuck in freeway lanes merging to one traffic at 11pm with a radiator that wasn't quite repaired yet. It was certainly a memorable night.
Pros
Got it for a good deal, and it's a car that's good/reliable for a lot of miles. No serious electrical issues. The factory radio sounds good. I personally love the analog clock, unique 360-degree rotating air vents, and the ball on the gear shift. The unique car shape makes it easy to spot in crowded parking lots for sure. While it's not a turbo by any means, the acceleration is solid. Only requires standard vehicle maintenance.
Cons
The engine block has been more shaky than on an average car, leading to some idling issues, not to mention the fact that engine mounts are extremely expensive and labor-intensive. Air conditioning and radiator problems take all day to fix because you have to take out the entire dashboard to get to a lot of things in the engine, or in the case of the radiator, a lot of things in the front of the car have to be removed for access. Lastly, the turning radius on the car is not tight by any means.

I just recently purchased this vehicle used about a month ago with 111,000 miles on it, and it has driven spectacularly ever since! It gets great gas mileage on the freeway, and even around town. It is a pretty spacious car and fits my 6'3" husband in it just fine. The interior is beautifully designed!
Story
We went to San Francisco in this car about a week ago and had so much fun! We went shopping and ate at new restaurants. We also were able to visit family.
Pros
I love where the buttons for the windows are located inside the vehicle in the front and the back seats of the car. I can fit two car seats in the back seat with plenty of room for another person to sit comfortably! I love how big the steering wheel is as well!
Cons
I wish the trunk could be a little more spacious. My car has a squeaky noise almost like a suspension problem and I wonder if it is common among PT Cruisers. It is costly to fill up my car.
