I purchased my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country used from an online repo auction. It had a 158,00 miles on it, and I was not sure what to expect. The first thing I noticed was that all the electronic gadgets like the power doors, windows, heated seats, etc. all still worked. I was amazed that these gadgets were all in good shape. The van had a built-in DVD player and a decent factory radio. The motor was good and seemed to have sufficient power and acceleration for my needs. The van seats were very comfortable and were easy to adjust to a comfortable position for driving. I have put over 30,000 miles on the van since I bought it without any major mechanical issues.
Story
The vehicle has been good for short, family trips. I do not hesitate to take it out of town. My children enjoy taking trips and watching DVDs on the built-in DVD player.
Pros
I like that my Town and Country has been a dependable vehicle. I have had no maintenance issues in 30,000 miles, and that is quite an accomplishment considering it was a repo vehicle when I purchased it. I like the seats which are heated and have multiple adjustments to varying driver comfort levels. I also like the power doors and the fact I can open them from a key fob, especially the back hatch. I also think it is neat that you can adjust the gas and break peddles to accommodate different drives leg length. I also like the stow-and-go seats. All around, it is a very neat vehicle.
Cons
Since I bought this vehicle used, there were a lot of cosmetic issues. The front end had been bumped and the hood was bent and rusted. The front bumper was cracked. As far as design issues, I don't like the spare tire position that is mounted on the bottom of the vehicle. It has to be lowered. I also am not fond of the rear cup holders mounted on the seat, as they are easy to break.

I have had this can for 6 years now and have had no problems from it outside of normal wear and tear. It has a very comfortable ride, good gas mileage and roomy. I have three kids and the power doors and windows have held up great, no issues. The only complaint I have is that on this van the brakes seem to wear out quickly and I have to replace the pads more frequently. My kids and I do to really like the dual TV's and headphones. All in all this is a great van and would definitely consider buying another one when the time comes to be looking. But mine only has 92,xxx miles on it and runs great.
Story
The first time we took the van on a road trip was memorable. It was great to have room for everything and the TVs for the kids to keep entertained. I was able to move around some to help get things for everyone. We had a great trip.
Pros
This van has many pros. I love the remote start. It is the best especially in the winter. Another great feature is the heated leather seats, won't own another car without them. Dual TVs that can watch different movies at the same time. The fact that you can download CDs onto the hard drive to listen to on the go. The navigation is awesome, I never get lost anymore. I love the ease of the rear power seats to lay flat to haul something. There are compartments in the floor in front of the middle seats that are great when traveling to store things you need to get to easily, bit don't want to c... (more)
Cons
The fact that the brakes wear out quickly and need to be replaced a little more frequently. There seems to be a bit of cabin noise when traveling at higher speeds on expressways. I wish that the back windows went all the way down, so my kids don't get upset that mine does. Although somewhat standard in this category, the third row of seating does not have much leg room for an adult or older child.

We purchased our Town & Country from Crown and with the exception of one small sales issue, I've been extremely happy with the overall service of Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The staff is courteous and friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel like you are appreciated as a customer. They deal fairly with me at every turn and have always been helpful. Even after our warranty expired, we had a minor issue that they took care of at no charge to us. A lot of people fail on working to establish a great working relationship with the dealers they purchase cars from, but put in the effort and the results will be well worth it for you.

I bought a Kia Sportage from a mega dealer a few years before I started visiting Hatfield Kia. Service at the big dealer was a hassle. Hatfield built this location 5 minutes from me. I took my Sportage there to get it serviced. I drove it far and was hard on it for seven years. It had a lot of miles on it and needed repairs that were going to cost more than it was worth when I decided it was time for a new to me car. Hatfield gave me a fair trade for the Sportage and worked hard to get me into another car with my, at the time, far from stellar credit. They didn't give up getting me financed for the car I really wanted until they found something that would work for me and my budget.
