Great family minivan
The 2006 Chrysler Town and Country is a well put together vehicle. It is easily the nicest I have ever owned. The engine runs very quietly and is very smooth. The sound system is very nice, and the air blows cold, which is important in Texas! The paint still looks very good, with little to no signs of wear. The interior is very comfortable, and has held up very well, with minimal signs of wear. We took it on our vacation last year, and even going up and down in the mountains, it stayed cool and steady, not even a hiccup. It has over 120,000 miles on it, and still runs, and rides very comfortably. My husband and I both have arthritis in our hips, and the step up into this van is perfect for reducing strain, the height is just right for us to avoid trouble getting in or out. We have not yet had to do anything for the van beyond routine maintenance. The stow and go seating in the back is so convenient! Also, the two second row bucket seats fold down and collapse into the underfloor storage, making the bed of the van big enough to transport a full sized bed! When not being used for the seats, the underfloor storage is incredibly convenient for holding tools, supplies, and whatever else you might want to have with you, but out of sight! The only negative I have found with my van is that the road noise is a little on the loud side. But for me, all the great qualities this van offers more than makes up for it!

I love this minivan!
The Chrysler Town and Country has been my first minivan and I am thrilled to say that it won't be my last. I purchased it in 2007, when it was 3 years old. I have never, ever had problems with the engine. In fact, the interior has held up remarkably over all of these years, as well. I had never owned a Chrysler before this and was very pleasantly surprised by the durability of this vehicle. In fact, for the last two years, when one might baby a car approaching 80,000 miles, I took a job which caused me to drive over 40,000 miles in one year. The van held up without issue. I do not think I will ever get rid of this vehicle. I will probably drive it from time to time just to see how long I can keep it going! Perhaps that means handing it off to one of my children, but I'm not sure I can part with it just yet. For anyone interested in a reliable, fun vehicle to raise your children with, I would absolutely recommend the Chrysler Town and Country Minivan.
