Used Ford Ranger for Sale

Truck is very stylish and sharp looking. I immediately liked the look of this truck, especially the bright blue color of it. Chased all over the state looking for this exact one. Seats are extremely comfortable and it rides like a much more expensive vehicle. Very roomy inside and instead of back seats it came with a fabulous sound system in that space. Bed of truck has plenty of room and I have hauled many different items in it. I'm very short so a little bit of being care is needed for backing up. Vehicle has never been in the shop except of oil/fluid changes. Maintenance costs have been minimal. Very fun to drive and still is. Acceleration, braking and handling is super efficient and easy. I was very nervous in the beginning driving it because I had owned a very small car previously. After a couple of times I couldn't wait to get on the road and go somewhere. My cousin went for a ride with me and said it was like riding in a Cadillac. She had no idea a truck could ride that smooth and quiet.

My Ford Ranger is a good truck, and a good 4x4. I have been driving the truck for 14 years, and the engine has held up nicely. Unfortunately, this model gets terrible mileage, and the inside has worn out before the outside did, so almost everything in the cabin is broken or ragged. Also, the vehicle makes a squealing noise when it is less than 30 degrees outside. The squeal is caused by a rubbing dust seal, and is fairly expensive to fix, even though the part is only a few dollars. For this reason, the truck will continue to squeal until I have the front hubs or bearings replaced. Performance wise, the truck is very reliable, and does well in mud and snow. Unfortunately, the truck is not a great family vehicle, and as my children get bigger, it is sometimes difficult to use this truck for primary transportation. Though it has an extended cab, the seats do not have enough range of motion to accommodate a lot of getting in and out of the truck. The Ranger is a good truck, but the gas mileage is not economical, and there isn’t enough room for a family. I probably would not buy another Ranger for this reason.

This is an excellent truck. I have been driving it for fourteen years and I have never had a major problem with it. Apart from a couple of minor incidents the only time it has been in the shop is for routine maintenance. It drives just as good today as it did fourteen years ago. If you are looking for a vehicle that you can put a lot of miles on and still maintain quality year in and year out then this truck is definitely for you.
