Used Ford Taurus for Sale

I liked the car as far as comfort and convenience. I'm 5'2" so it's hard to find a car where I can comfortably sit at a safe distance from the air bag, and this is one of them. I was not happy with the number of mechanical issues I had with it, however. Catalytic converter, tie rod ends, motor mount, air conditioning, to name a few. I understand that it's an older car but that's a lot happening at one time. Definitely would not buy another one.

I drive a 2004 for Taurus, this is a nice dependable car that gets fairly descent gas mileage and gets me where i need to go with no worries. the only issue I really dislike about this car if for the model year, it still has a tape deck and no cd player.

It has a V6, which is nice, because my previous sedan only had a 4 cylinder, but this car has very loose steering (I bought it used), and does not feel incredibly solid when driving. This may just be a result of age though. the car also has an ugly grey interior, with cloth seats. It does have working air conditioning and heat which is good though. The stereo that it came with also only had a CD player, and no auxiliary inputs. I really wish that the car had ABS or traction control, because it does not handle very well. I like to refer to it as a 'boat' because it takes very wide turns and does not stop very easily compared to my previous vehicle. I do like having the ability to seat 3 in the front and 3 in the back though, because most sedans don't seat 6. It gets reasonable gas mileage. I'd estimate around 20 mpg average.
