Used Ford Explorer for Sale

The car is very stylish both inside and outside. On the outside it looks trendy. On the inside it's comfortable and eye catching. There is plenty of room inside and the trunk as well. What I really love about this car is the comfortability of the drive. I rarely experience any unwanted motions like bouncing and short stopping. The handling is great and again the steering wheel is quite comfortable to grip. The only problem I had was the shifter becoming a little stiff, but it's not too much of a problem.

The ford explorer that we bought used was in good shape. In 4 years we have had to flush the refrigerant system and the radiator, and replace the starter. The engine compartment is easy to access for do it yourself repairs and parts are easy to find. It has plenty of room and is currently being used as a family vehicle. We can comfortably fit 2 adults, and 2 full-size car seats and still have enough room for 100-200llbs of groceries. Fuel consumption isn't bad, at around 26mpg on highway.

I like the Explorer pretty well, it's the first SUV I've owned and I wouldn't go back to driving a small car after my experience. I like how it handles but it's had to have a lot of work since I've gotten it, which is to be expected from driving it about 100,000 miles since it was purchased and most through no fault of how it was made (ea.. A toddler shoved a pencil into the air conditioner vents and I needed to fix it so it would change from a/c to heat again). I would like some work done to the interior, updating the stereo system, etc. The air conditioner vent has been lose and won't stay in position since I've gotten it. When I was looking to buy the car I test drove another Explorer and ultimately decided to get the one I got because of a large crack on the back of the other one. Soon after purchasing this one a large crack in the same spot appeared and I've found out it was a weakness common in Explorers. I've driven it often, and take it with me when I go hiking and it's always did great with the right maintenance.
