It is an absolutely amazing truck. It has over 120,00 miles on it and is still going strong today, The inside of the truck has a very simple but effective design. The inside is extremely sturdy no rattles or problems with seat belts or any cosmetic item like mirrors. It is quite literally indestructible and that's just the interior. I just put some new tires on it after I used the old ones for more than 5 years and it rides so well you could swear it was a brand new car. One great thing about it is that even being one of the smallest trucks out there I have hauled more Objects with it and been able to weave in and out of extremely tight spaces that I would have never been able to achieve with a larger sized truck. I current have a tool box installed in the back and it is a perfect fit. Another great aspect to its size is that when you are boxed in a situation on the road and things are getting dangerous you have a much greater chance to be able to sneak out of them. Things you could never do with the larger trucks on the market. I only say this because this trucks small size has gotten me out of so many pickles in the past its truly amazing. The outside of the truck has also taken a good bit of punishment and has been weathered throughout the years but it does not show in the slightest. The durability of the steel and materials used to make this truck must have been top notch. From hurricane type weather and Hitting concrete road blocks too fast and even nearly falling in a ditch with it. It has held up so well that I now understand whoever was in charge of the design made this truck with toughness in mind. I used to act as a taxi for my family and friends being that I had a lot of spare time to drive them to locations for years when they had no one else. I used to have to go in this parking lot of a college that was about the size 2 drive ways put together and this parking lot was absolute terror and accidents happened here on an hourly basis. Being that my truck was so small and out of the way I managed to avoid so many accidents. Probably more like because God was watching out for me but you get the point that I'm illustrating. Great for getting in and out of tight spots. Regardless of its size it hauls just as good as any huge truck would in my opinion. The Durability on the outside is only matched by the sturdiness of the inside. I almost never have problems with the Engine and battery after all these years of owning it. 2001 Is outdated to most people but from my wonderful experiences with this truck there is no vehicle I would rather drive today. It is Also a automatic which was an amazing upgrade for anyone who is tired of stick shifting.

The 1998 Toyota Tacoma is a solid, no frills, small pickup truck. It is extremely capable off-road as well as a comfortable daily driver. The small body size makes it easy to maneuver whether it be around trees in the woods or other vehicles in a parking lot. The on-the-fly four wheel drive enables this vehicle to switch into 4 wheel drive whenever it is needed and back to 2 wheel operation during normal conditions. The DLX regular size cab is pretty small however and may not be comfortable for taller or larger individuals. Another problem with the small cab size is lack of dry gear storage space with only inches of room available behind the seats. I have owned this truck for over 10 years and I am still very pleased with it. It has over 250,000 miles on it now and has had no major mechanical problems, only routine maintenance required thus far. I would recommend this pickup truck to anyone interested in a capable all condition vehicle. Perfect for the avid fisherman, hunter, camper, etc. Any outdoors adventure enthusiast would find what they need in this vehicle.

My 1995 Toyota Tacoma is a very reliable vehicle. It is built to last, and it is fun to drive. It is a manual transmission. The only thing I do not like about it is that my model does not come with an A/C unit installed in it. This is how we bought it. My most favorite thing about the vehicle though is the experience it provides. It is great because of the manual transmission. It rides like a top, but best of all, it is easy on the fuel.
