2004 Dodge Dakota - A few problems, but not bad.
It was a solid and rugged pickup. It had lots of room and could carry a lot of weight. It made the trip from Chicago to Seattle fully loaded down with no problem. Pretty good gas mileage, and it could take a lot of abuse and continue to run long enough to get where I was going. It did need some major work at various times, and it never had much power, but it was adequate. It didn't look great, and it wasn't that comfortable, but I didn't mind when it got dented either.
Story
I once pulled out of my garage and got out to close the garage door, thinking I had put the vehicle in park. I hadn't. It drove off without me and smashed the driver's side door against a tree. I had to drive around all that week with the door held on with bungee cords.
Pros
It got better mileage than I would have expected from a truck. It could carry almost anything almost anywhere. The turning radius was good, and it could fit into small spaces.
Cons
It didn't look good, and it wasn't comfortable. The engine tended to overheat, and I had to have the transmission rebuilt at about 80k miles. It didn't have much power, and the fan belt made a lot of noise in cold weather.
