Dodge Grand Caravan Asheboro, NC OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Mars Hill, North Carolina
Nice vehicle, but with some quirks.
My Dodge Grand Caravan was purchased to provide more room for our family. The interior of the van is nice. I really like the trim on the inside of the front doors. I also like the ability to fold the middle row seats down to allow more room if needed. The back seats fold down as well and accommodates items as large as bikes. One of the faults I have with the van is the fact that the sliding doors rub the quarter panels above the real wheels. I have looked and looked for a solution for this, but have been unable to locate one. Dodge knows about this problem but refuses to fix it or recall the vans. The paint above the wheels is now showing a scuffed white mark. I have to wax this every so often. Another fault I have is that the paint is chipping off the mirrors on both the drivers side and passenger sides. At 90k miles the driver side front end has started making a creaking sound that we are planning to get checked out in the next week. This is really annoying. We got a recall for the airbags this past week. So we will be having to take it to the shop to get this corrected.

Reliable.
I have owned the vehicle for 6 years now and it has almost 150,000 miles on it. With the exception of normal wear and tear and regular upkeep, there have been minimal problems and the vehicle is still running very well. There is also lots of space. I was planning to get rid of the car by now, but have decided to keep it longer since it is still running so well.
