Overall, I liked the Dodge Grand Caravan. It was a very spacious car that at times hauled a lot of people and other times hauled a washer and a dryer with no problem. It was a car that was able to meet our needs on many occasions. Unfortunately, it is not very attractive, the mechanics are not holding up really well and it is not fuel efficient at all. However, I am still satisfied with its overall performance.
Story
I moved across country in this vehicle. Every inch of space was crammed with stuff, my 2 children and our dog. It took us 3 days and we used every advantage we could out of the space of the minivan - really made the trip easier and fun.
Pros
The best feature of the Grand Caravan was the space. With the captains chairs in the second row it was very easy to get in and out of the third row and to buckle children into car seats. A feature of the Grand Caravan is the deeper space at the back, which really adds up to a lot of space to haul things. And since all of the seats are stow and go you could have a 10ft long flat space to put things when necessary.
Cons
The negatives of this vehicle are the fuel economy, it simply does not get good gas mileage. Another negative is that over time it has become very difficult for the seats to be stowed, some of the straps are not working properly, and the electric sliding door on one side no longer works (or locks automatically for that matter) and this is a common problem with Grand Caravans. Also it is not an attractive vehicle.

The Grand Caravan is a high-quality vehicle. It has performed for our large family quite well. We've had no real mechanical issues and with the included maintenance package, have had no major problems.
Story
My wife and I took it to a concert that was far enough from our home that we didn't want to drive back afterward. There was plenty of room for both of us to fit and comfortably sleep in the back, with all of the seats down.
Pros
The van is very comfortable and has plenty of cabin space for both adults and four children. They are all able to move and fit inside comfortably.
Cons
The passenger headrest broke, and replacing it is difficult and costly. We've also had issues with the oxygen sensors needing to be replaced, but it's an easy repair that I can handle on my own, and the parts are not expensive. I do find that failing oxygen sensors is an issue with every Dodge vehicle I've owned. The trunk space is quite small, as well. With a stroller in the back, there is little room for much else.

Purchasing this car was a no hassle deal. They didn't try to get me to take a million upgrades and they didn't try to play around with the price. I was ready to walk and they laid it out for me and the deal was done. They even called me back the next day to tell me they got me a better apr and had me come in to sign new docs.

They gave me the best deal price-wise. They had a few 2014 models left over from 2015 year, so it had a lot of buy back points with the bank. They were able to give me no money down and a low 7% interest rate with a Mopar protection plan.
