Overall, I really have liked our Dodge Grand Caravan. It has a lot of room when we travel or have extra people riding with us. I like that it has the built-in car seats when we are transporting younger kids, so we don't have to move in their car seats then take them back out, etc. It saves a lot of time and effort that way. I also like having the stow-and-go seats. It makes it very convenient when traveling long distances, and we have a lot of luggage and extra things with us. It's also handy for big grocery trips or when we buy furniture or building items, etc. Things you normally need a truck for will fit in most times. I love having the side doors open on both sides. That's very convenient and a lot easier for everyone to get in and out of the vehicle faster, so it definitely saves ... (more)
Story
The kids and I have taken a lot of fun trips in this vehicle, but what I remember being most fun is going to the drive in theater. It has just enough room with the back open and the stow-and-go seats down for us to lay out a bed and lay down comfortably with food, drinks, and the works for two full movies, so that's like four-five hours. Good times!
Pros
The pros are built-in car seats, stow-and-go seats, dual heat/air, dual sliding side doors, and electric adjustable drivers seat.
Cons
The cons are uncomfortable middle seat and the "oh no" grab bar on the passengers side front seat. The brakes on this van suck. We have had to replace them almost yearly since we bought it. No storage racks on the roof or sunroof.

From the day I bought the 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, I felt in love with the comfort, engine power and gas savings. The minivan is spacious for seven passengers. The best is that, even with all seven passengers the back space and the under the seats space, it will let me store about four to five luggage pieces. Another plus is the power the engine has. I travel at least four to five times to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, and going up the hills before the border of Las Vegas, it runs smoothly and not forced. The last plus is the gas savings. In the city, it does not do good compared to other cars, about 19 mpg. But, on the hwy, about 24 or 26 mpg, which is pretty good for a 2000 minivan.
Story
I had a flat tire on the 405 FWY in Los Angeles. Was easy to change but scary when cars are going 80 to 85 mph around you.
Pros
The first pro is the space and that I can seat all my seven members of the family. The second one is that the car run smooths in and through hills. And the last one is the MPG that it gets on the hwy, which is about 24 to 26.
Cons
The first con is the mpg in the city. It is about 19 mpg, which is not good for someone that drives every day 20 to 30 miles to work with Los Angeles traffic. The second one is that it only has one slide door on the right. Most of newer minivans have two slide doors, one on each side.
