Great, Love, Best Ever
The Cadillac Deville is an excellent car. It rides very smooth and the engine is quiet. It feels like a luxury car. When I ride over a bump, I barely feel the bump. I love the leather seats and Bose Sound system. Some cars don't have an Aux port and this car does. In the winter, the car heats up quickly. But I don't like that it uses a lot of gas. A full tank lasts me about 3 days, especially when I have to run the air condition. But overall, a great quality car. The performance of the car ranks amongst the best I have ever seen. It picks up speed fast going from 0 to 60 very quickly. I love my suspension and the air shocks.

I love the ride
My vehicle is a Cadillac Deville and is a 2008. It is Beige and a nice ride. It gets about 20 miles to the gallon which does not make it so great on fuel efficiency. However, if you want a spacious place for the kids then the Deville is yours. The only trouble I have had is that the air conditioner has went out and it's going to cost a lot to fix it. Cadillac's cost a lot to fix because they are luxury vehicles. It runs and drives great. I love my Cadillac!

Fun Car, OK Reliability
I've owned my Cadillac for about 4 years now. I got it at 134,000 miles and it is now at 182,000. For a car of its age, the build quality has proven to be quite good. The only defect with the interior is that the second pull down sun visor broke before I had the car. Cosmetically, the car looks to be in great condition. There is some minor cracking of the exterior plastic trim but it would never be seen without a close inspection. The leather has held up quite well. This is the most spacious car I have ever driven. Passengers say that the back seat is like sitting on a sofa. The car is certainly comfortable for long trips.
The downside to this car is reliability and the cost of fixing things that break. Almost since the time I got the car it has had slight overheating issues. If you are driving in stop and go traffic in hot weather or if you are driving up a steep mountain, there is a moderate chance that the car will reach much higher than normal operating temperatures where the dashboard will indicate "low oil pressure" (due to excessive heat) and it will instruct you to turn off the engine. At this point you need to let the car cool down a bit before continuing to drive. Avoiding steep mountains and stop and go traffic during very hot days eliminates the issue. Although inconvenient, that has not been too much of a problem for me.
The EGR valve went at about 150,000 miles causing extreme knocking until it was fixed. It was a very expensive repair. The air conditioning also needs constant maintenance and the heater core was replaced not that long ago.
All in all it is a decent car, but at its age many things need replacing causing issues with reliability as well as the cost to replace those items.
