I love my Chevy Tahoe. I have had it for about seven years now. I bought it used in 2007 with low mileage and I have driven it about 100,000 miles since. It has been extremely reliable and durable. I love the color and the roomy interior. It has plenty of space and third row seating, which I've never used, but like having the option if I wanted to take a bunch of friends somewhere or carpool. The gas mileage is not amazing, but it is no worse than the gas mileage on the Jeep Grand Cherokee I had before it. I can get about 350 miles to the tank on the highway, which I think is pretty great. It is fun to drive and drives less like a giant SUV than you would think. I feel safe in it because I feel like it is bigger than most other vehicles and I can see more of what is going on. Also, it feels kind of indestructible to me. I have rarely had to do anything more than replace a battery in it. The only problem that has been recurring with it is something in the steering column goes bad every few years. It is not a real issue, just makes a clicking sound when I turn left. Mechanic says it is a common issue in this vehicle and that it does not actually hurt anything.

My 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe is my primary vehicle for commuting as well as the occasional job that requires a vehicle with room for transporting things. It has been very dependable, and maintenance is incredibly easy with plenty of room to work under the hood and fairly inexpensive and readily available parts.
