Not the GREATEST option
I like my Dodge Avenger because it is great on gas. I have found that I can get approximately 25-30mpg on the car, which is great because I do a lot of traveling. What I don't like about the car is that I have had to do a lot of maintenance on the vehicle. It seems I am changing the brakes and rotors every 4-6 months. I have also had to replace the engine and I am beginning to have transmission trouble.

Good at first
I purchased this 2008 model in 2011 with approximately 60k miles on it. At first the vehicle was great, no problems and got great gas mileage. Slowly I started to see that I was going to be putting more money into the car than I had hoped for. I change the brakes/rotors about every 3 months. I had to replace the engine because of a problem with the oil tank and the transmission has been slipping for a long time now.

They only ask what you want to spend per month. They don't tell you the prices of the car. They want to know your budget and will "fit" a car to you. They will start by offering more than your budget for the max term for a car worth at least half of that! After about six hours of deliberation you can walk out with a payment higher than you wanted, for longer than you wanted and an empty gas tank. Oh, they may even call you back the next day and let you know they got you a better deal by a couple dollar per month. In actuality they raised the principal and kept running your credit to find lower interest so they could profit more.

This particular Dodge and Nissan are the same company, owned by the same person. One is across from the other, so when I bought a my 2009 Nissan it was a great experience. People were nice, my Nissan is still running great, and I love it.
So I figured I would buy my second car from the same company and decided to go to the Dodge side to choose another vehicle.
