Used Dodge Ram 1500 for Sale in Conroe, TX

Well I've had my Dodge Ram 1500 truck since 2006. It was used and was a smooth quiet ride for years. Gas mileage not so great due to the fact it is a V-8 engine in the truck. This truck is the third Dodge Ram 1500 I have owned, and I still currently have them all, and they are all running. The reason I am sharing this information with you here is because all three trucks are just five years apart in age, and they all have the same problem that arose on each one around the 80,000 mileage mark. The shocks and springs are noisy as all get out, and it's embarrassing to drive slowly through my subdivision because you can hear them a whole street away from me when I drive. It sounds like rusty old metal scraping, ugh. My mechanic says I don't need new shocks or springs, and he oiled them for me and that lasted about a month. The mechanic said that the Dodge Ram trucks seem to pretty much all have this same issue. The ride is smooth, and the noise level is loud to this problem with these trucks. The truck is a great workhorse and is dependable, so I highly recommend them to friends and family, but I would suggest buying ear plugs around the 80,000 mile mark on the odometer.

I have 68,500 miles on this truck now, and in five years of ownership I had one problem with a transmission ring that was thrown off. The powertrain warranty was through 60,000 miles, so it was actually covered and did not cost me anything but the tow. I love the smooth ride. For the first four years, I traveled 100 miles a day to work and back and it felt like I drove a Cadillac sedan. So far as hauling, it easily carried my 8 passenger boat with very little drag. I especially like the paint color. I received more compliments on the paint of this truck than any other. While it is simply black, there are diamond like sparkles throughout and it glistens in the sun.
