Compared to previous years of the Focus, the re-designed Focus cars are junk. Ford decided to put a manual clutch in an automatic transmission. The design is awful! At 10,000 miles, the car began to sputter and stall like a 16 year old trying to drive a manual transmission. Ford insists this is the way it is supposed to drive. It is a shame because the Focus has been a part of my life since 2000.
