At first I was worried to buy it because of things I heard about it. I decided to buy it anyway, because it was pretty cheap. I loved it as soon as I drove it. It handles well and is great on gas. I have had it about a year, and the only thing I had to do to it was replace the tires. I bought it at 35k miles, and now I'm at 50k miles, and have not had to do anything special to it expect change the oil. But overall, I would recommended to friends and family. I am also thinking about buying a newer model of the same car.

My car has nearly 50,000 miles on it of which I have put on over half in about a years time, and it has been very durable and practical with no maintenance needed during this stretch. The fuel economy is exceptional for a car that is nearly 10 years old. I drive about 50/50 highway versus city miles and average about 30 miles per gallon. The comfort is definitely somewhat of a downside, there is not much leg room in the back for passengers, and if the front seat is scooted forward, it can become crammed very quickly. The stereo has been a problem in very cold temperatures, as sometimes it will not turn on if the car is too cold. The acceleration is also not stellar. I find myself not being able to accelerate as quickly as most of the cars on the road. The car's shorter length is a plus in crowded city parallel parking situations.
