Stylish Family Car
We absolutely love our car. It is very stylish, but still big enough for my growing family (kids' ages 10 and 14). It is also very reliable. I've had it almost two years, and it has had no work other than oil changes. It is not the best in the snow, as it does not have a lot of traction.

Good performer with some quirks.
My Fusion has convinced me that overall, by 2007, Ford clearly changed perceptions and reality about their build and design quality. Specifically, the performance of the power train is economical for a car this size/ weight. 25-32 mpg, city-to-highway is better than I originally expected, and is still the average mileage I get now that there's 208k+ miles on her. The suspension seems to be able to handle all types of roadways without a problem, even a little gravel and unpaved/ rutted roads. Traction and handling on snow or icier roads isn't great, but at slower speeds, it's easy to learn how to compensate for any tendency to slide or veer. Braking has always been steady and strong.
