I purchased this vehicle as a toy for myself. I had searched far and wide for exactly what I wanted in a muscle car. The Mustang GT had it all- retro styling, that muscle car grr look and that V8 engine that rumbles when you turn the key. The interior is on point- full power leather heated seats, a dashboard with customization abilities, an in dash trip computer, 8 speaker pumping stereo, chrome styled trim throughout the interior. The exterior is pleasing to the eye- curves and lines where they should be, and that styled flat front nose that screams "classic". The spoiler on the back adds that sporty look. You turn the key and the engine roars to life. As you drive and shift gears, you can feel the power of the 8 cylinders in front of you.

What attracted me to this vehicle is the style and performance, along with its great history and known popularity. This car is an American classic, which has enjoyed huge success since its inception back in the sixties. I found this new style to be much greater than previous years with a strong correlation to the best years of its production back in the late sixties. This car has a great resale value and actually is one of the few cars that actually go up in value as it ages do to the fact that this model is destined to be a collector car with strong desirability. This car is about average in fuel economy, but then again, this car is not purchased for that consideration. What this car is purchased for is its sporty style, performance, and handling. The GT model is not by any way inexpensive by average terms, but compared to other sports cars, one gets a lot of bang for the buck without regret. Not many owners of the Mustang have had bad impressions of the car, as most owners love it so much that they don't want to part with it unless they have to. Maintenance costs can be a bit expensive, but if you want a car like this, then you must be prepared to pay the price. No matter what, this is a car that motivates pride in ownership.
