The engine despite being a v4 can accelerate quickly and brake smoothly. Overall, it is an incredibly reliable car that has lasted me the last five years with no issues at all. The Civic SI is a fun and sporty addition to the low cost low maintenance high gas efficiency class of cars. It beats out all other naturally aspirated four cylinder sedans in all aspects.
