Used Jeep Commander for Sale

The jeep commander was only made by jeep for a few years. The style and shape was immediately appealing. It seemed to be a large enough vehicle for a family. Overall I am satisfied with how the jeep commander drives and with the amenities provided. It is comfortable yet rugged and with the always on 4 wheel drive it is great for all weather. However after purchasing this vehicle I learned that it is not as big as it looks. Sitting in the second row for an adult is a bit cramped and uncomfortable, even though there are three seats in the middle row, only 2 adults would fit. The third row is completely useless unless you are using it for small children that can buckle themselves. There is nowhere near enough room for even a short adult to use the rear seats.

I have owned this Jeep Commander for about three years now. This is my second Commander the overall experience has been great. There is a lot of room especially with the 3rd row seat. The vehicle rides smooth and doesn't require more than regular maintenance and care. I have been very happy with the towing capability with it as well. It is average on gas for a vehicle of its size.

We bought this car when we bought a minivan. I think the main reason we own it is because we feel so much cooler driving it than the van! It has an aggressive look to it, and sits higher up on the road. After driving a minivan around town for a few days, we always end up fighting over who gets to drive this one. The seating fabric is really nice. We had a 2007 Compass before this, and the fabric is much nicer on this SUV. There is a ton of room for everyone, especially with the back seat slightly raised so passengers back there can see the road and interact with the front better. We did need to have a sensor in the transmission replaced at around 35k miles. The engine light would come on, and the car couldn't accelerate. This happened when turning left at a light a couple of times, and then we knew that it wasn't a repair that would wait. it wasn't a ton of money to get it fixed, but it was $400-500. This car isn't any worse on gas than any other 6 cyl engine, really .
