Doesn't age well.
The 2011 Jeep Compass is a decent small SUV. The car did not seem to age well. I have had it for six years. After the second year, I felt like I was driving an old car. The sides of the seats started to fall apart. Other plastic parts on the interior and exterior of the car started to look warn or even fall apart. The Compass does drive well, and the engine has held up great. The majority of my issues are with the interior of the vehicle.

This vehicle is clunky, constantly has transmissions issues and is not very fun to drive.
I liked the body style of the vehicle when I purchased it because it was a nice mid-size SUV. I thought it had a lot of great space in the trunk and on top of the roof rack, especially for long trips. Over time, the interior has fallen apart much faster than I had anticipated. The radio interface became obsolete pretty quickly and the Bluetooth constantly has trouble connecting to my phone for wireless calls. The transmission likes to act up constantly and make my SUV rattle with strange noises when I'm driving on the freeway. Overall, I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone. It seemed like a great purchase for the price and suited my needs, though I can't wait to trade this vehicle in for a full size truck.
