The Kia Forte is a great car for getting around town as well as out on the road. It not only gets good mileage but it is easy to operate. The size can be deceptive because although it appears small it can comfortably accommodate a family of four and has a deep trunk for purchases or luggage on a longer trip. Also nice is the sound system and Bluetooth compatibility that allows me to sync my playlists for hours of music on a long drive. Overall this car provides everything I need in a comfortable means of transportation. Add to that it's compact, attractive exterior and you have a great car.

This was not my first choice for a car, but it was very affordable and so that's what we went with. It had a lot going for it. It is easy to drive. It is dependable, and all things considered been low maintenance. We travel between southern and northern California often, so we have put a lot of miles on. We have had to replace the tires, and we have replaced the brake pads twice. That was a little costly. Here six years down the line the air conditioning is beginning to falter, but hopefully that won't be a big deal. The gas mileage has been pretty good as well. I have to say one of my pet peeve about this car is how cheap it sounds when you close the doors. I know it doesn't matter. The car is perfectly insulated, but It bothers me every time. It reminds me that I had to buy something less than what I wanted at that time. Still, it has been a very good car.
