Powering the base 2016 Lincoln MKS is a V6 engine that makes decent power for daily driving, though the optional twin-turbocharged V6 delivers quicker acceleration. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard and it shifts seamlessly. The 2016 MKS has a handsome interior design and many upscale materials, though some materials could be of higher quality. The MKS' touch-screen controls are also difficult to see and use, which can make them a distraction while driving. The front seats in the MKS are comfortable for long trips and have ample head- and legroom, but rivals' seats offer more side support. The rear seats are roomy, and the cushions have a high position that allows adults to sit comfortably. The MKS has one of the largest trunks in the class.
