Perfect commuter car
I purchased this vehicle new in 2009 for the styling and the looks. This car has grown with me and my family and has been a consistent performer ever since.

A great value
I really enjoy driving my Lancer Ralliart. It has responsive handling due to the competent all-wheel drive system that comes from the Lancer Evolution 9. It is great for the winter and for "spirited driving" in the other seasons. My model came with a built in navigation system which is nothing special by today's standards, but it was a great system for the time. The semi-automatic transmission might not be for the enthusiast, but it's great for commuting and putting it into manual mode feels like playing a video game and can be quite fun. The quality of the materials used in the manufacturing is average or slightly above. The outside styling is aggressive but understated. The car definitely looks better from the front (even better than the EVO). The sound system is ok - not great, but passable. I did not opt for the optional Recaro seats and I am glad I didn't because they are uncomfortable, whereas the stock seats are really quite comfortable. I have driven faster, more expensive, better equipped, better fuel economy etc., but the Lancer Ralliart has the right balance of sport and day-to-day driving that makes it such a great car and a great value for the money.
