My Nissan Altima is one of the most reliable cars I've ever had. I've had it for 8 years and the only real issue I've had with it was the transmission and that was a recall issue. I brought it into the dealership and they replaced it free of charge and offered me a loaner until it was fixed. As long as you get regular service check ups I don't think you will have any problems with this car. I have 2 kids, 2 years apart, who are now teens and this car has grown with us. From car seats and strollers to friends and sporting equipment. I was even able to fit my son's BMX bike in the back seat once. I have a 2008 model that comes with key-less entry. This has defiantly come in handy when my hands are full and I can't dig in my purse for the keys. The ability to roll down the window with the key is an added plus for the many hot Florida summer days. The mileage on my car after having it for 8 years is still great.
