Good value for good money!
The 2015 Subaru Outback Limited isn't cheap, but it is a good value. Mine came with front and back heated leather seats, the Subaru EyeSight system (which uses adaptive cruise control to prevent crashes and keep its distance from the vehicle ahead of you), remote start, sunroof, SiriusXM radio, Bluetooth, two USB ports and HD radio. The tech may be flashy and in some cases superfluous - but it works. This is definitely the car you want when the weather takes a turn for the worst. Using the CVT, the 4-cylinder Outback isn't a Prius, but it's also not your typical thirsty all-wheel drive vehicle. In the time period I've had it, I've gotten anywhere between 27-33 miles per gallon in ordinary driving. And while it is also no speed demon, the power is adequate enough to inspire confidence without getting you into trouble. The sound system in the Outback Limited is great as well - the interior sounds like a concert hall. And while it is no luxury car, you will feel pampered by both the soft, snug front and back seats!

The Subaru Outback is the most versatile car I have ever owned.
I have owned several Subaru Outbacks so I knew what I was getting myself into when I purchased it. When my wife and I looked around for cars we did look at other vehicle makes and models. Nothing came as close to the Outback. I love that the vehicle has a lot of power and can go anywhere. I haven't had any problems with the engine and have only had just a few minor issues. We have put 75,000 miles on it and I expect to put many thousands more on it. I love the radio interface and the controls within the vehicle. The heated seats and the duel heat and cool options are a plus. The best feature is that the vehicle can go just about any place you can think of and in any environmental condition. It rains here a lot and it handles really well on rainy highways. Very little hydroplaning with the right tires on it. It doesn't snow here very often but when it does snow a lot it can drive through about anything, including ice if you're careful. A couple years ago it snowed about a foot. I had to drive about 100 miles to drop my kids off at their dads and his vehicle wouldn't even make it out of his neighborhood. I had absolutely no issues driving it out of our country roadways, onto the interstate, and through the kids' dads neighborhood and then back home again. I was pleased with that particular situation.
