I bought this vehicle brand new when I graduated from college. I have had it for almost ten years and it has proven to be a great, reliable investment. This vehicle is very comfortable for long distance driving and great on gas for daily commuting. My vehicle has had zero mechanical issues. I have driven it over 130,000 miles and had no break down issues. There have been no rattles or sounds from mechanical issues. The vehicle is extremely practical. It gets great fuel mileage and is long lasting. Performance wise, this car does not disappoint. It has great pick up and performs well in highway, city, and country road settings. The vehicle is also safe. There are not only standard from airbags, but also side curtain airbags which add to the assurance of safety. I have been a victim of multiple vehicle accidents in this car and have never been anything but absolutely safe. The paint is very durable. After ten years, I have no sun fading, flaking, or peeling. The undercarriage and wheel wells are durable, and have showed no signs of rusting.

When I purchased the vehicle, the thing I liked most about it was the AUX port -- I had been forced to use radio tuners or just listen to the radio on my previous vehicles, and I really enjoyed being able to plug my phone directly into the vehicle. Also, the gas mileage on this car is fantastic. I drive about 10 miles to work each day, there and back, and fill my tank about every other week. The interior of the vehicle was really nicely furnished, the plastic parts felt sturdy and there was no cheap materials used. The cushioning on the drivers seat was adequate, and I liked the "fuzzy" feel of the fabric. I was not too impressed by the dash overall; it's pretty boring, and there are not a lot of features on it (besides the AUX port). The knobs and stereo area are all pretty old fashioned looking, and there is very little personalization on the dash. I also like the brand name a lot, Toyota is a reliable car company, and I know that when I do purchase a new vehicle, I will get top dollar for my used trade in. The only other thing that I really dislike is the difficulty of changing the oil and filter. The filter is oddly shaped (not standard) and very difficult to get to, so I am forced to take the car to a mechanic for an oil change rather than completing it myself, which I would prefer to do. Overall, this car lasted me through the last 2 years of college in Philadelphia, so it can tackle most anything now that I am out of the city.
