This thing was over priced and hyped up by everyone I asked. The interior started falling apart the first month. Things got only worse after that. After a year, I finally gave up fixing all the stuff falling off and sold it to a kid (um bad) who was in love with beetles in general and always wanted one.

I bought this Beetle because it was "cute" and I wanted one ever since they came out. I got the turbo version that was a 5 speed so it was fun to drive. That was one of the few positives. My version also had heated leather seats which I enjoyed a lot. I bought the car used, with about 50K miles on it. I totally understood why the previous owners got rid of it. The car regularly left me stranded. Something was wrong with the electrical system. The head lights burned out frequently. If you let it sit overnight, it frequently would not start in the morning. The check engine light was constantly on. I took to multiple mechanics and spent thousands. No one could figure out what was wrong with it. I keep it sputtering along until it was paid off then I sold it to CarMax. I doubt it started the next morning for them. It is a car I was so thankful to get rid of and I have not missed it for one minute.
