I love my VW Jetta. It's a great city car, not too big, not too small. Has the power I need when jumping on the highway, and peppiness and cornering I need in the side streets. Will fit in many spots that bigger cars cannot squeeze into as well. As for reliability, it never failed me in 3 years - not once. What can I say, German engineering at its finest!

This is one of the best vehicles that VW has ever made and continues to be one of the best-selling vehicles after 20+ years on the market. Some might view the Jetta as a compact vehicle, but the Jetta excels in a couple of ways over other vehicles in the same group: First, the engine, particularly the 2.0 (or 2.5 on older models) has a lot of power, much more than the smaller engines used in competitors. Despite the larger size, the Jetta still gets great fuel efficiency too. Second, VW has a precedent of not paying more for safety, and that is appreciated. Other brands will charge for extra air bags or restrains, ABS braking, etc. but not VW. Finally, despite being a smaller car, the interior is massive. You can easily fit a few large suitcases in the trunk, and taller passengers will have no trouble sitting in the back, unlike most other vehicles this size.
