I really enjoy driving this car. It is very easy to handle and drives very smoothly. When driving on the highway, the car is easy to control with no shaking or extraneous noise. Car does pretty well on gas when on the highway; however, driving in the city or areas where you stop a lot can drain the gas. It has been the most reliable car I've owned, and I would recommend owning a Passat to anyone.

Good reliable car. Fun to drive

This is a fun car to drive. It is an older car now and used mainly as a back up car. The red paint job on the car has held up. The upholstery not as much. Small hole in back of driver seat from contact with driver. The car did have a recall but problem was fixed. No other problems with the car and it has over 80,000 miles on it. The car is fun to drive and is quick to accelerate. It handles well and is fun to drive. The body style is almost timeless. The front compartment of the car is small but has enough room to be comfortable. The back seat does not have a lot of leg room. The car has a large trunk and good storage. The car has held up and still has a lot of life left in it. The car gets average gas mileage. There is a blind spot caused by the head rest on the front seats. The car is easy to drive and I feel very safe when driving or riding in this car.
