The Volvo XC90 is a beautiful car with an extremely smooth ride. It provides lots of room and makes the driver feel extremely safe while driving it. Engine size is great but the transmission is not enough for the vehicle. It's a repeated problem with the year and make. It becomes tiresome every 150,000 miles to have to get your trans rebuilt or replaced. Also, gas can get a little ridiculous after awhile. If you drive a lot of "in town" miles it's not the car for you. In city for a week (300 miles, give or take) I spend $100+ easy, that's with new tires (tires wear extremely fast on this vehicle) and perfect up keep. Highway mileage gets better and makes it great for trips. All in all I'd buy it again in a heartbeat and will replace it with a newer model when the time comes.
