The Escalade is among the most popular models Cadillac sells and has long been a favorite of luxury shoppers. This new model debuted in 2020 for the 2021 model year and is the fifth-generation Escalade Cadillac has built. The OLED screens provide more than 38 inches of total display area: a 7.2-inch touch panel to the left of the steering wheel, a 14.2-inch digital instrument panel, and a 16.9-inch infotainment screen in the dashboard.

The OLED screens are standard on all Escalade models. Other goodies inside this 2021 SUV include options like Night Vision, a nine-camera trailering system, an augmented-reality navigation system that matches real-time camera views with directions, a rear camera mirror, and a 36-speaker sound system.

Cadillac's 2021 Escalade will also offer its Super Cruise hands-free driving system that now features automated lane-changing.

The 2021 Escalade is powered by a new 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Or buyers can choose an optional 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline six-cylinder motor, which makes 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Regardless of the engine, all 2021 Escalades come standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive will be standard and four-wheel-drive will be optional. Also optional will be a self-adjusting air suspension that's paired with Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control.

A rear-seat entertainment system offers second-row passengers their own 12.6-inch seat-mounted touchscreen tablet. On it, users can control a variety of devices connected through the HDMI and USB ports, mirror Android phone screens, and use the navigation system to send to the driver's screen new destination suggestions.

This 2021 Escalade is longer overall and features a longer wheelbase than its fourth-generation predecessor. Third-row passengers now have up to ten inches of additional legroom.
