An Average Car
I bought a Ford Edge as my Honda was going on 13 years old and only had 2 doors, which is inconvenient with a growing family. The first couple days with my Ford Edge I couldn't get used to the handling, the turning wasn't great. The automatic setting on the seats was awkward too, as every time you turn on the car it adjusts your seat to a programmable option. This programmable option is nice, but I dislike waiting 30 seconds every time I sit down to get the "ideal" setting. On the plus side though, the car is large, it gets great gas mileage and the automatic trunk is pretty nifty.

Great semi-luxury SUV
Was on the fence about getting a Ford till I test drove the Edge. And after, you might not believe this, I test drove a BMW SUV. Thinking it was going to be great, the BMW ended up feeling archaic in comparison. The Edge is a really well-made SUV that drives like a car, feels solid and has a very nice upscale interior rivaling some of the luxury brands.

The salesman was friendly, but not pushy. He listened to my needs and wants, and seemed genuinely interested in what I wanted. He let me test drive all the cars I wanted to. He wasn't upset that I wanted to go home and sleep on my decision. He was off the next day, but made sure someone would be there for me to come back and look at the car I wanted. He made financing painless.

I know my cars, knew what I was looking for and didn't get any of that typical stuff the average car dealer try to throw at you to sway and convince you to get something more expensive. One of the dealers there promptly helped me find what I needed, was able to answer all my questions and was capable of settling on a good negotiation/price for the car. Made me a happy guy.
