Great mid-size SUV
The Edge has a smooth ride and is really stable because of its wide body, which is great for curves and poor weather. It also makes it easier to have a car seat installed and carry other passengers. It gets decent gas mileage for an SUV, but it could be better. It has excellent pickup with the 6 cylinders which is nice for highway driving. I like that it has a lot of room but is not a huge SUV.

My favorite car
I love this vehicle. We bought it with only 50,000 miles on it, and it has operated perfectly. The only issue I've ever had with it was when the battery died, and that was from leaving the headlights on. I love Ford's Sync stereo system. Even though the model in mine is very basic, it performs like a dream and hardly ever has errors or malfunctions. My husband's newer Chevy Cruze can't compete. I love the spacy feel of this car. It's so roomy! I've never had anyone complain about feeling cramped, even adults in the back seats. And I've always had plenty of space in the cargo area for things. The handling is perfect. My Edge is the first crossover/SUV type vehicle I've ever owned, but it handles just as well as my previous vehicle, which was a Ford Taurus. Even on the road I have to take home, which can be quite treacherous while wet or slushy, I very rarely have to worry about losing control in the curves.

The staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer questions. The salesperson didn't hassle me during my process of shopping the lot and patiently let me test drive numerous cars. During this time we discussed what I liked and disliked bout each particular car. He also discouraged me from trading my truck and openly admitted they could not give me what it was worth in trade seeing it was an older truck (1998) but had immaculate records and only 76000 miles. They did knock a significant chunk off the sticker since I was paying the majority in cash.

I recently visited Lonnie Cobb Ford, even though I wasn't in the market for a car. Although I did not buy a car there, I consider it the absolute best dealership I've ever known.
