I've owned my 2003 Ford Explorer now for five years and it truly has been one of the best vehicles I've owned in over 30 years of driving. We purchased it in used condition from a local dealership and paid cash. I've put more than 50,000 miles on it and have never had a breakdown.

I absolutely love this car. I purchased it when I had my grandchildren. I had small cars before and no way to haul them. So now I have a big back seat that comfortably accommodates 2 car seats very well. Now I can drive them anywhere. And with the gas mileage (30 miles to the gallon) it is very affordable. It is a very smooth riding vehicle. I can lay the seats down and haul things. I have a luggage rack that will come in handy when I do get to take a road trip. I love the color (light blue). It's a 4 cylinder but has the pep of a 6 cylinder.
