I have owned 5 different SUVs, a Ford Expedition and Edge, along with 2 Chevrolet Equinoxes. The Ford Escape is my favorite one yet. Its the perfect size to scoot around town for the driver, while still allowing for extra when there are passengers The trunk is a nice size and the seat lay down to accommodate larger items.

We purchased our 2008 Ford Escape about four years ago with about 47,000 miles on it. We have absolutely loved it, and it recently hit 100,000 miles. It handles great in the snow and is the perfect size for our family. When we purchased it, we had a four year old and a newborn, both in car seats. The car seats both fit nicely, and the car is a great height, so it was easy for both us and our four year old to get in and out of. Now we have a eight year old and a four year old, and we still love it. We now have a high-backed booster and a front-facing convertible car seat, along with a small booster in the middle for when we drive car pool. I love the leather interior and leg room in that back seat. We have had a few mechanical problems, such as we lost a bearing and the ignition switch, but they were relatively easy to resolve. The cargo space is sufficient, but I wish there was slightly more. Overall, we have loved our car and will likely hold onto it until it no longer drives.
