This vehicle has been dependable.
I own a 2008 Ford Escape. This has been an excellent vehicle that has been through a lot. I drive this vehicle many miles a day to work each day. It currently has 166,000 miles and is still running smoothly. The interior of the car still looks fairly new. The seats which are not leather, resist stains very well. I have a basset hound that rides in the backseat each day and the seats vacuum up very well. I would also give the stereo system a high rating. The speakers are clear and make you feel immersed in the music you are playing. However, I wish the vehicle had blue tooth built in. I would consider this a negative. I also give high marks to the amount of space in the rear compartment. I am easily able to fit an industrial size vacuum and all types of other cleaning products with space to spare. The outside of the car has taken a few dings over the years but bounces back nicely. It has been hit by other cars on a total of four times. Each instance my car was sitting still, either at a stoplight or in a parking lot. Each time the car was hit, the dents and scratches were able to fixed without much effort. That is why I would give my vehicle high marks on safety. One thing I have a slight complaint about it is the gas mileage. I wish the vehicle could go a little bit further on a tank of gas. I drive around 30 miles one way to work each day and I have to fill up about every four days.

Great car -- No regrets!
I have put over 108,000 miles on my Ford Escape so far, and I have not had any major problems with it. The interior is roomy and comfortable. The electronic adjustment lever on the driver seat works well and makes it easy to find the sweet spot to drive comfortably for hours. Mirrors provide good visibility, and I especially like the small insert of a blind spot mirror on the side mirrors. They give me confidence that I can see just about anything around me as I am driving. The cargo space is ample. I have moved a lot of stuff in this car. It is easy to put the rear seats down to lay flat and fit even big boxes from Ikea without anything hanging out the back. There is an included cover to pull over the rear storage area. That, along with the subtle tint of the back windows, gives me peace of mind that items left in the back of the car are hidden from view and not a temptation to thieves. For its size, the car gets decent gas mileage. On road trips, I can get about 28 mpg. Around town, maybe 21 or 22 depending on my driving. The only complaint I have about this Ford Escape is that there is a noticeable vibration when idling. I noticed it immediately after purchase, returned to the dealer to have it checked out, and the service folks said it was just something that this model does. If I am at a long stop light, I might put it in Park as that reduces the vibration somewhat.

Four Seasons Ford Hendersonville
2011 Ford 1000
I contacted via the internet a Ford dealer in Asheville I had purchased from previously . Filled out info, asked for a quote on a couple of vehicles. Meanwhile I had contacted Four Seasons the same way - smaller dealership, wasn't expecting much, but they had gotten back to me in an hour. Finally got a call from the Asheville dealer with said info three days later. I politely told him I had opted to do business with Four Seasons because they had responded first, and he went ballistic. While I was on the fence about a new versus year old car, the salesman gave me time, no pressure, had me drive half a dozen cars over a two week period. Happy with them, happy with the car. Quick responses to questions and no B. S. Salesman was Mark Traves, good man.
