Great American made vehicle.
I purchased a 2004 Ford Escape last year. It needed a few minor repairs, but overall it was in excellent shape. I haven't had any problems with it and I travel for work. It's decent on gas at 21mpg highway and 19mpg city. The undercarriage tends to rust if not properly maintained. 2004 and 2005 years are know for rusty rear wheel wells, so that needs to have a close eye kept on it.
