I like this SUV because it is the perfect size. I am alone most times, so I don't need a lot of space. If I have to pick up other people, it fits five. It is roomy in the front, so if there is another adult in the passenger seat, you don't feel cramped. The leg room in the front is great. I also like the fact that it sits up higher than a car.

Of all the cars I have owned, my Ford Escape has been my favorite. My favorite thing about it is the amount of cargo space. The rear seats fold down flat to make it easy to load large items. I have hauled dressers, ladders and even kayaks in my Escape. Another great thing about my vehicle is the heated seats. They warm up before the heater starts blowing hot air, which is great in the winter when you're in a hurry. I feel like I get great fuel mileage, though I'm not sure of the exact number. It's definitely not a gas hog. One thing that prompted me to buy this car was the sunroof; however, I have not used it much and it leaks, leaving a slight mildew smell in my vehicle after a storm. I find the Escape to be very comfortable, with lots of leg room in the backseat. My dogs enjoy it! This car is reliable. It has never left me sitting. I am experiencing some electrical problems currently, with the dome light not shutting off after I park the car and the "door ajar" alarm going off when the door is clearly closed. Other than that, I've had zero problems with it, and it still runs great. I feel that the Escape is stylish and practical. I feel good driving this car even though it is 13 years old now, and it is great for loading lots of groceries. I typically drive 100 miles away each weekend, and I have no fear it will break down. The fog lights are a bonus!
