This car has been great. Super smooth and powerful. I can punch it and it goes. The Ford-built transmission is oh so silky smooth. I had on problem with the starter not retracting after starting, but a new starter solved the problem. I absolutely love the AdvanceTrack AWD. When it rains I can drive through puddles and on highway without it slipping. I feel damn safe and use it for road trips. The radio is cheesy, but the interior is super comfy and well laid out. The back seat recline and there's leather all around. For a 2004 it's well appointed. Of course newer cars have more high tech, but I really love driving this rig.

This was a great upgrade from my Explorer. I love having the extra trunk space. The third row is a true third row that can fit adults. The vehicle handles extremely well and gets good gas mileage for an SUV. We take it on road trips all the time, and it is super comfortable. I'm shocked that the vehicle gets 22 mpg on the interstate. I expected it to get less. I think this is a very comfortable vehicle for a family. I also like that there are not captain seats across the back. I can put a car seat in the middle and know that my child is fully protected in the event of a crash. I also like the blue tooth package that the vehicle came with. I love being able to sync down my Pandora and listen to podcasts through the vehicle. The vehicle has a great sound system and it is super clear. I also really like all the ports that are available to charge my phone. Especially, the fact that they are not cigarette lighters. I also really like the controls on the steering wheel. They are easy to use and work really nicely.
